Our Story


For the past seven years, we’ve been exploring the world of specialty coffee — not as professionals at first, but as friends who simply loved sharing a good cup. Our backgrounds are in horeca, IT, and finance, but what brought us together was a shared passion for ritual, flavor, and the stories behind every bean.

Over time, our curiosity and drive turned into a plan.

We kept diving deeper – discovering new origins, experimenting with different brews, and learning from the roasters and baristas who inspired us. Eventually, we realized it was time to share more than just ideas – to bring you the unique local tastes we had come to love.

That’s how IO was created – built from the ground up as our way of offering not only coffee, but also our perspective on what coffee can be: simple, mindful, and full of character. By working with local roasters, we bring you diverse flavors while keeping the same core values.
