How to Brew a Drip Coffee Bag
A simple method to get the best flavour from your coffee – all you need is hot water.
You’ll need
- 1 drip coffee bag (12 g)
- 1 cup or mug
- Hot water (92–96 °C)
Step-by-step

Open the bag
- Tear open the sachet and remove the drip coffee filter.

Place on your cup
- Unfold the paper arms and hang the filter securely on the rim of your cup.

Bloom (optional, recommended)
- Pour a small amount of hot water (about 20–30 ml) over the coffee to wet it evenly.
- Let it bloom for 20–30 seconds to release aromas.

Brew slowly
- Continue pouring hot water in slow, steady circles until you reach 150–200 ml.

Remove and enjoy
- Once the water has fully dripped through, remove the filter and enjoy your coffee.
Brewing tips
- Pour slowly for a cleaner, sweeter cup
- Use fresh, filtered water when possible
- Adjust water amount to taste:
