Our Story

Our journey into specialty coffee began over seven years ago – not as professionals, but as friends who simply loved sharing a good cup. With backgrounds in horeca, IT, and finance, we were brought together by a shared appreciation for ritual, flavour, and the stories behind every bean.

What started as curiosity slowly turned into something more intentional.

We kept exploring – discovering new origins, experimenting with different brews, and learning from the local roasters and baristas who inspired us along the way. Each encounter deepened our understanding and shaped our taste, until it became clear that we wanted to share more than just conversations around coffee.

That’s how IO came to life.

Built from the ground up, IO is our way of offering not just coffee, but a perspective on what coffee can be: simple, mindful, and full of character. By working closely with local roasters, we curate specialty coffees with distinctive flavour profiles, while staying true to the same core values of quality, transparency, and care.

Our journey doesn’t stop here. We’re constantly searching for new local roasters, new origins, and new tastes to explore – bringing you a rotating selection of coffees worth discovering, one cup at a time.
